Based on the posts I read, I see I'm not alone. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Makes the "I'm a bad person" a little easier to swallow.

But here I am, bad person or no, looking for something. Witty banter? Sure. Someone to feel attracted and passionate about? Doubly so. But the future? Who knows.

Me: Late 30s, tall, dark, moody, and handsome. Carrying a little more around the waist than I'd like, so I'm more dad-bod than gym rat, but I do go to the gym and lift. I am professionally creative (my purpose) and semi-pro in the kitchen (my passion). I love cats and dogs equally, I enjoy reading physical books almost as much as collecting them, and can't live without music. I am bilingual, mixed race, and grew up outside of the US moving around a lot. I am also neurodivergent and go to therapy regularly.

You: Funny and confident. These are by far the biggest things I'm looking for. Make me laugh while sparring with words and you'll have all of my attention. Looking for someone who is at least a medium level of active (and we love gym rats 'round these parts). Tattoos, piercings, colored hair are all plusses. Bonus points if you consider yourself nerdy in some way.
