Okay, maybe that title is up for debate, especially on an affair sub… but hear me out.

I won’t lie, I often frequent Reddit when I’m in the mood and not getting any attention from my wife. I suppose I’ll add all the obligatory: we’ve got a great marriage outside of the bedroom, not looking to change my situation or yours, etc.

But I found myself gravitating almost exclusively to r4r type subs, and have come to the conclusion that what I’m really missing is connection. I really miss that feeling of learning about someone. Hearing them talk about their interests, what puts a smile on their face, what drives them in life.

I miss making jokes, and developing a little inside joke with someone. I miss flirting, and seeing how someone reacts when I compliment them. And vice versa, hopefully…

And yes, I like exploring adult themes together with someone. As that’s a big area that is lacking in my marriage, it’s something that is fun to fantasize about. I have no intention of making that the sole priority of conversation, but if it’s not at all what you’re after, we may not be a great fit.

I work in the medical field, but am usually able to respond to messages during the weekdays as well as weekends. Another thing that may be a dealbreaker to some is that I’m a dad, so the little one takes priority; sorry in advance for possible slow replies, but chasing her around is a full time job sometimes!

In terms of what I’m looking for… I want to leave things fairly open. I have been attracted to and gotten along with a lot of people, and don’t want to limit potentially fun parents. So whether it is body types, marital status, kids or no kids, time zones.. let’s see if we can make it work.

I’m also not going to curate my post history… which may be a mistake but, eh. You can get a glimpse of my crazy mind from some previous penpal posts.
