I exercise out on a running trail and often daydream of sparking conversation with a woman my age while walking my cooldown. We connect with a smile and nervously beging some awkward conversation. We laugh and flirt a bit while we talk about about exercise pains and the weather. She's my age, married too (I can see the ring) but we don't talk about that. We get to the parking lot and say a brief goodbye, nothing more. I get in the car and think "damnit... I liked that!!!". She stays in my mind for DAYS.
I'm back, same day and time next week. She's there, walking the opposite direction so I smile and say "we're at it again!", she smiles says " yes we are" and we pass by. We clearly didn't forget each other. I think she's into me. She smiled at me, she responded without hesitation.
