I was driving home last night and as I was leaving driving down the long dirt road that leads to my friends house, I noticed some flickering lights in the distance. Maybe I was feeling philosophical at the time, but as I continued my drive home, I started to think about how OA folks (myself included) are like flickering lights in the distance waiting to be discovered, waiting to be unveiled and spread its light onto the world.
Perhaps we all have a “light” within us all that’s just dying to get out and be shared with someone. Someone who appreciates you, desires you, and wants to share special moments with that you’re currently not getting fulfilled at home. I have that in me and I’d love to shine my light with someone and bask and dance in its glow.
I’m 45, extremely open minded, loving, caring, introverted, huge sense of humor and a heart full of love filled with ribbons of gold.
I’m chubby, politically left, musician, love to cook, read and all things introverted.
