Welcome to the future. By the time you read this we’ll be closer to 2025 than we have been all year. The new year is always an exciting time of fresh beginnings and spirited introspection. New year. New me!

I’m very excited to skip the next month or so and get right into the excitement of fresh starts. Going into the new year I’m proud to have the following things that I’m working on to improve about myself:

I’m taking a hard step away from social media. No more messaging sports writers I disagree with. No more feeling a crushing guilt for not sending birthday wishes to people I haven’t talked to since 8th grade. In the new year I’m focusing on myself and positive relationships.

I’m focusing on improving myself both physically and mentally. Not only am I going to exercise more, I’m also going to get back to working on my screenplay. I’m worth it!

I want to become a better cook with my own signature recipes. I want to have meals I prepare that my family views as my signature dishes. I’m pretty good when it comes to breakfast, but I still don’t have the perfect chili recipe.

In the new year I strive to drink less soda based beverages than ever before. That doesn’t include Ginger Ale. I actually plan to drink more Ginger Ale.

I want to remove the clutter from my life. All clutter of all kinds. This means removing physical, emotional, spiritual, and even collectible clutter. It’s time to move on from some of my VHS tapes. I need the room to breathe and grow. Not be held down by the past.

That’s all I’ve got so far.

I’m your typical midwestern man. No, I don’t own a dairy farm, but I have no qualms with giving a neighborly hello. I recently discovered I’m only 5’6. My license says 5’8. I’ve always thought I was 5’8. I used to lie and say I was 5’10. As I’ve gotten older I’ve become comfortable with telling people my real height which I thought was 5’8. Well now I’m prepared to truthfully say for the first time ever that I am 5’6. I am also beardless.

I’m looking to laugh and flirt and enjoy your company. I want us to get to know each other and feel comfortable and build our own cozy world together. I’m looking for a partner in crime. I’m looking for someone that is looking for someone. I don’t want to run off into the sunset together, but I’m also not looking to exchange one message a day. I’m seeking a confidant. I’m seeking a friend. I’m seeking the intimacy I’m missing on a daily basis. Let’s be the bouillon cube that the other is missing in their life. Let’s be the flavor that completes the dish. Most importantly, let’s enjoy each other’s company.
