I had actually two affairs but the second one I got sloppy and was discovered and had to end it.
Things I now have to deal with even years later:
- Life 360 - whenever I have to go somewhere that is maybe out of my normal routine I know she’s tracking my movements
- Most of my indiscretions these days are of the online variety.
- She did go out of town a few months ago and I was able to meet a lady for drinks and a little making out that night. Went good!
But in general I would say my whole approach is different. When you know that meeting up for sex is going to be tough you can really develop more of an emotional relationship online.
However I do miss the physical side. The coffee meets, booking a hotel. I’ve also noticed the online affairs tend to fade out after a few weeks.
I’ve had to be more present in my marriage. Which is good it’s what you are supposed to do. But it still can get boring sometimes.
