Hey there!
Okay, let’s skip the usual “not looking to change our situation” line and flip it! Yes, I’m on OA, so of course, I’m not expecting either of us to leave our SO’s, but I genuinely believe we can build something fun and meaningful that adds to our happiness. In turn, that can actually improve our current relationships, right? There’s a reason we’re both here, and having someone to share those reasons, worries, fears, and even regrets can only be a good thing!
So, here’s a bit about me: I’m 44, been married for 11 years, and yep, I’m in a DB situation (seems like the thing to admit these days, but it’s not the only reason I’m here!). I work hard—like, workaholic hard—but this past year has been pretty stressful. I’ve been really trying to disconnect between 5 and 9, giving myself some much-needed balance. I love running and recently started doing yoga (nothing crazy, just a great way to recover from runs and kick off the day right!). I’m a bit of a science nerd—whether it’s actual science news or good old sci-fi on Netflix, I’m into it. At the same time love a good laugh! From rom-coms to standard comedies then I’m in!
I’m just looking to connect with someone in a similar situation—someone who’s honest, funny, and caring (isn’t that what we’re all after, though? 😂). In return, I promise to be all those things too! Just a heads-up: I’ve got a sarcastic streak, but hey, it keeps things interesting, right?
