First, here’s the difference. I want to remain completely anonymous. Your mysterious online friend. You’ll never see my face and I’ll never see yours. I want to really know you, cast aside the aesthetics. The connection I seek is deeper. I’ve done this once before and it was the best thing I’ve had on here. Will Lightning strike twice?
Now, the facts about me.
I have kids. I have a good job. I like the outdoors and sports and coffee and scotch that burns your insides and makes you wish you were Teddy Roosevelt.
When I was a teenager I read Stephen King’s Wizard and Glass over and over again and realized decades later that it, along with The Great Gatsby was the most influential book I ever read.
I listen to all sorts of music, I’ve worshipped at the altar of Pink Floyd, I’ve head banged to Metallica and I’ve sat transfixed listening to Miles Davis.
I think a lot. Sometimes I’m loquacious, sometimes I’m brief to the point of accidental rudeness. Sometimes I’m deliberate, sometimes I’m impulsive. Like this, don’t you think?
