I’m locked in for the next three years but that doesn’t mean we can’t change each other's situation: turn neglect to desire, fill the silence with never ceasing dialog, replace isolation with intimacy. Where there hasn’t been, let’s build a safe-space.

I want to get high on your dopamine and swim in your serotonin. I want your favorite song stuck in my head and the sound of your voice to tickle my ears like music. I want to hear your sad-girl playlist. I want to make you laugh and wipe away your tears. I want to feel your name on my lips and hear mine on yours. I want to etch you into my sketchbook. I want to read books to you. I want to be captivated by you; enthralled by the story of your life. I want to captivate your imagination, feel irresistibly interesting, be the object of your desire and you mine.

I want to be worth the risk.

I'm a big burly bookish bicurious-ish nerd with a case of RBF, a very full beard, shaved head, and a giant pair of black frames only a software developer could love. It's an aesthetic one might call highlander-librarian, Viking-professor, or bookstore-bouncer. I’m an avuncular curmudgeon, jaded cynic and hopeless romantic. I read, write, draw, rave about geeky things (seriously, I need someone open to impromptu Ted-talks about nerd shit). I'm left of Bernie, an atheist and ex-cultist, and a progressive. Married but less than roommates. 

The following list is not ordered, exhaustive, nor is anything on it a deal-breaker. I just thought it might help with the Venn diagram in your head when evaluating whether or not to reply: I love words, weed, puns, nerdery, books, bookworms, bookstores, movies-so-terrible-they're-wonderful, movies-that-are-actually-wonderful, D&D, explicitly-expressed-consent, bohemians, hippies, piercings, unnatural hair-colors, tattoos (designing my first as we speak), dorky bad-asses, geeks, art-lovers, gamers, dreamers, serial-comma-enthusiasts, and portmanteaus.

I desire a smart, funny, partner. I’m loath to use the word sapiosexual as it’s nearly been rendered hackneyed by over-use. So more explicitly I need someone who broadens my world view, is deeply introspective, in constant passionate pursuit of knowledge, self-improvement and emotional intelligence.  She loves art, building worlds, and rubbing brains together.  She longs for mentally stimulating conversation, and a partner with whom to become quantum entangled.
