Too many connections these days feel like two ships passing at night—brief interactions and then gone before you know it to continue on the ocean of life.
I’m hoping to find something different, something that lasts. Even amid life’s chaos, two lost souls can genuinely find each other to fill what’s missing in our lives, emotionally and physically. I’m not looking to change your situation—mine is equally complicated.
You: Married or attached, in your 30s or 40s, someone who takes care of herself, keeps an open mind and can converse about everything, and is non-judgmental. You understand that discretion is key. Be able to maintain a conversation. I know we're all busy but we can't build a connection with just one sentence daily.
Me: I’m 45 years old, married, and living as a roommate. I work in Tech in the SF Bay Area. I am well-traveled, intelligent, kind, and, let’s say, funny. Well, the last three are for you to decide. I can tell that I am well-traveled globally.
My interests range from movies and sci-fi to silly memes/jokes/banter and learning new languages (currently learning Spanish). I also love long walks on the beach and hiking (Yeah, I do, but I haven’t done much of these lately, but it sounded like something folks write in the profile, lol)
I’m working on getting fitter and am happy to exchange pics (on a different platform) early.
Let’s not just be passing ships and make a genuine connection. I want us to have a reason to look at the phone, hoping for a message, and smile after reading it.
Ships that pass in the night and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence
