Maybe it's because I'm older, but I envision an online affair as two people exchanging long emails for a frisson of intimacy that's exciting enough to feel like emotional cheating. Absolutely thrilled for sexuality to raise its ugly head, but that's more intimacy outside the marriage. Not looking to text. I have a pretty interesting life that will still allow me to respond in depth to those anticipated emails, but two married people trying to text discreetly throughout the day sounds like a really bad idea. So, hoping to hear from someone of a more mature age (even older is very welcome). Let's start out with uncomfortable things to admit, and maybe keep being there for each other.
