I should know better by now having been on here a while but it still cuts pretty deep when it happens.

So what has happened? Met a great potential match and we chatted, met, made out and it was great. But then a snarky comment and mutual ghosting I guess would be best way of describing. On my part the suggestion of withholding sex on a next meet irked me as I’m in a DB and she was a cake-eater. Perhaps I should have swallowed my pride but I had also grown slightly tired of being the first to say good morning. Equally she could have read the situation better and been in touch. Without getting a chance to say anything deleted from snap and gone. Just like that.

In the days after I again connected, we had location and profession in common. Again, chatting and seemed to be getting on, checked in and the dreaded ‘Deleted’ next to messages. Gone, just like that.

I know we are all here for broadly the same reason but a goodbye or no thanks doesn’t take much.

But, here I am, putting myself out there again. Ideally I’d like to connect with someone in a similar situation to me, a dead bedroom and missing that spark of excitement in life. Someone to chat with, flirt with and, if both of us want, to meet with and have some adult fun.

I’m not looking to change my situation, more to supplement it by replacing what’s missing.

Open to any age but please be in the UK as time zones can be tricky. I have kids but don’t mind if you do or not.
