Hey there. I’m a 37 married dad (and cat dad). Long time lurker and only recently have I tried my hand at posting. The results have been interesting to say the least but that probably won’t come as a surprise to anyone on this sub.

My situation is not unlike many others here and while I am not miserable at home 24/7 there are what I would consider very important things missing. Mainly, I miss the feeling of being important to someone and the excitement that comes with talking and engaging with someone who cares.

A little about me, I’m a bedroom bass player who enjoys music very much. When I’m was younger I got to play with others pretty often but nowadays it’s just more for fun. Occasionally I’ll do something like a wedding band which is fun. I’m a bit of a history nerd and really enjoy history documentaries. I can also get very lost in most things true crime. I have a list of comfort shows that I default to on most occasions while I avoid watching new shows. I have a very laid back and go with the flow type personality.

I’m ideally looking for someone who maybe has been missing the same thing that I am. While I am ideally looking for a long term connection I’m also not looking to put a ton of pressure on this off the bat. I very much enjoy the process of getting to know someone and letting the natural vibe carry things. I get along best with someone 30-50 and maybe has a kid or kids. I’m in PST so the closer the better I think but I’m open if things can work. I have the time and effort to put into this and I’m looking for someone who does as well. Life happens outside of this and takes priority of course.
