First you need a spark. I small, quick flash to grab someone’s attention and get something going.
Then you have to carefully ignite the tinder. Proceeding carefully to grow a flame. Conversations can’t be too heavy but they can’t just be rapid fire questions either. Very quickly we both know if anything is going to catch.
With a flame underway you can start to add the bigger pieces. Conversation can get deeper and more personal with hopefully some good laughs.
At this stage the fire and the conversations are easier to manage. Not on autopilot but flow more naturally. Sometimes the fire and the relation gets very hot very quickly and that comes with lots of excitement.
The trick is to keep it going. An unattended relationship burns out just as fast as one that is too intense.
If we’re both lucky, the fire burns steady and hot as it grows over time.
If you’ve gotten this far let me tell you about me. I’m a 50 year old dad of two great kids. I’m 6 feet tall, blue eyes and dark hair I’m in shape but not ripped.
I’m Canadian in the eastern time zone and If any of the above resonates, drop me a line in chat or PM.
Cheers
