Weekends are always my time to shine—at least, that’s what I tell myself. Got the plan all lined up, ready to conquer the world, and then... that couch pulls me in, Netflix pops on, and suddenly I’m lost in the quiet bliss of doing absolutely nothing. Anyone else? Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise that I don’t have a “honey-do” list hanging over my head. Speaking of which, how was your weekend?
Worst Roommate Ever has been my latest binge, and let’s just say, it got me thinking about my roommate—otherwise known as my husband. I think our show would be called “Where Did My Marriage Go?” We’ve all felt that, right? That moment when you realize something’s missing. The thrill of a new message, the excitement of someone fresh... all those sparks you can't seem to find at home anymore.
Truth is, I’m lonely. My marriage feels more like a business arrangement these days, roommates running a life together. We’ve got a good thing going, but there’s that constant feeling, that little nudge, saying my energy might be better spent elsewhere. Ever felt that?
Oh, and a fun fact about me—I’m gay, married to a man (just in case you missed that). I work in data analytics and compliance for health systems, but outside of work, I’m all about adventure. Hiking, paddleboarding, urban exploring—Arizona locals, I’m eyeing a trip down the Salt River before the season’s up, any takers?
Picture this: handsome, bearded, your down-to-earth neighbor type. Just here looking for that spark, that something extra. And hey, with Halloween around the corner, the ghosting is bound to ramp up. But let’s be real—if there’s no vibe, no worries, just say it. Life’s too short to miss out on a chance, right? So why not say hi?
