Like anyone, I have many reasons for being on here, but ultimately I want someone with whom I can just be truly authentically myself, and discover and enjoy the other person's true self. Always wearing different hats - dad, professional, home project executor, but so rarely get to just revel in someone else's presence without having a performative aspect to it, and I would like to change that. I don't have a particular type of person I need, but truthfully I want to connect on a mental level, so someone willing to talk about anything and everything, with an uplifting presence and good head on their shoulders would be a better fit for me. I can be a bit verbose, have a decent goofy side, try to be positive and encouraging (in my own biased opinion), and if physical description is helpful medium build, hazel eyes, dark hair / beard. I don't usually wear flannel but fulfill a few appearance stereotypes if I do sort of thing.
