I've inadvertently found myself following the script a lot of people who've been married for two decades adhere to: I still enjoy the company of my spouse and have no intention of leaving her, but I crave stimulation and a deeper, more emotional connection with others who have a different outlook and mindset.
I don't yet know if this would take the form of friendship, flirting, or something deeper. Those options are all on the table.
Me: 52, dad-bod (but no kids), married 20 years, stable job, into reading crime fiction, history, and the occasional bit of sci-fi, visiting galleries/museums, playing guitar, bass, and keys (all rather poorly), gaming (both TTRPG and video), British comedy, and cooking.
You: a woman 32-72 years old, well read, kindling-dry sense of humour, and equally at home talking about the mundane, the profane, or the extraordinary. Perhaps you're married as well? If so even better to relate to one another. I'm agnostic as to background and physical appearance; I can find beauty in just about everyone.
