Different kind of title, I know. My point is how often do we scroll mindlessly to take sips of that time that once was? We don't post on this sub because we want to leave our spouses. Or because we absolutely abhor them (I can only speak for myself). We generally post because we want to be brought back to another time. A simpler time. I find myself nostalgic for my late teens and early 20's. And I wonder why. I'm not nostalgic for it because I want to be away from my wife, but rather I'm nostalgic for it because it's a place I cannot return to. That door is closed. I'll never be that young and free again. It's a painful thought, so I turn to this sub to wonder if anyone else feels the same? A lot of people look down on people in this sub. And to a degree I understand. But though I've been happy with this new life, I long for the feeling of my old one. I'd like to find someone I could connect to on this level. I'm a deep thinker, especially at night. I like sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, nature, and the list goes on, but tell me about you. What time are you mist nostalgic for?
