I’m 49 and I write for a living. I’m creative, secure and mature … I’m the guy with the beard and flannel shopping for plumbing parts at the Farm & Fleet (where Men buy Stuff in Wisconsin) but who also has a master's degree in journalism and put out a book of poetry 25 years ago. I'm a coffee snob and a soccer nerd and I host two podcasts. And I can converse about almost anything ... one of the things about being a journalist is you become a little bit expert in a lot of different topics. I'm also very outdoorsy ... already have a half dozen camping and kayaking trips planned for this summer. Oh, and I already bought my tickets for Dune Part 2.

I have a bunch of work to do today ... I'm working from home right now but will be in the office for part of the afternoon ... and I have a part of my mind that just kinda wanders. So, paradoxically, I will be better able to focus if I have a sweet young lady to take up the attention of that part of my mind. And if we connect ... I'd love someone to chat and play with well beyond working hours, too. I'm often up late alone in need of company by text and phone and maybe even video call.

I am in a marriage that's cordial and fine but not intimate, and I have some latitude to have this kind of relationship. We can talk more about my situation later, if you'd like. I prefer a genuine age gap, so if you're in your 20s or early 30s, you get to the front of the line. If I have a "type," I'd probably call it "sporty." But if you meet neither of those criteria, but think you can capture my attention and want to give me yours, reach out, by all means.

Physically I'm dark and handsome but not tall. About 5'6, shaved hair, neatly trimmed salt & pepper beard, bright blue eyes and soft lips. Kind of a dad bod, with the daddy energy to go with it, if that's your thing.

What about you? You're sweet and smart and love learning new things. You find it kinda charming when an older guy tells you stories and explains stuff to you. You think it's a little bit hot when a guy takes care of things, fixes things, builds a campfire. Maybe you're a bit submissive, maybe a lot submissive, maybe not really submissive at all and just interested in the age gap. You're flirty but maybe blush and get butterflies when I make you feel extra special.
