I lurk and post occasionally, but it's honestly always a bit windblown and lazy. This time I'm typing on a computer (so buckle up). If that doesn't show intent, I don't know what does.

People hate on the term "friend with benefits", but I think that's a fairly precise description of what a lot of people are looking for. A friend is someone you want to talk to when you're happy / share random moments from your day / rant with about ridiculous bosses & co-workers / send stupid memes to and wait to see if you get judged, but also someone you can lean on in times of need. Benefits... well, I'm not sure there's much debate on what all that means. Who wouldn't want to have both of those things?

I've had in-person flings before that were essentially purely physical that were fun. I've had online relationships (sounds weird to say, but that's the most accurate word) that were fulfilling & we would have liked to take it offline, but it didn't work out at the time. I'd prefer the fusion option, but am not opposed to either of those right now.

About me: I'm very educated, bilingüe, have a stable job w/ leadership roles, have opinions about most things & love conversing about almost anything with someone who knows their shit. I like to read, like to be outside and active, and I look for real art for my home (which is modest by design). Physically, I'm 5'9" with a slim/athletic build, dirty blond hair (but not as much as I used to), clear blue eyes, some scruff.

About you: Intelligent, competent conversationalist, positive energy, and in this weird space to squeeze just a bit more out of life. Physically, I hope you are healthy and active, and I want to be at least as attracted to you as I am to my current partner because this has to be worth it if we're going to risk anything (and I'll be honest in saying that she's usually the most attractive woman in the room). You can have your own partner or be single, as long as you are understanding that I do have responsibilities and that personal time is at a premium for me (but would love to make an investment with the right person). Age tends to affect essentially all of the aforementioned qualities, but is not a deal breaker on its own.
