37 [M4F] - My New Year's Resolution is You

It's a new year and time for a new adventure in the wonderful world of OA! I'm married of course, and I think I'm contractually obligated to state that I'm not looking to change my situation or yours. Just looking for some fun and maybe even some feels.

I have done this before and I know that every connection looks a bit different, so I wont try to say exactly what I'm looking for. It's most important to me to find someone I really vibe with and see where things go from there.

To save you some time, you can stop reading if you aren't: - located in a North (or South) American time zone; - my age or younger; and - a slim to average body type.

I have an 8-5 office job and I'm able to chat a fair bit both at work and at home. I have kids so I'm not available 100% of the time, but I promise that my availability won't be something you'll complain about.

I like to read. I used to be much more of a voracious reader but these days I seem to go through phases. Maybe we can even give each other some motivation and read a book together. I mostly read fiction. Anything from Stephen King to Margaret Atwood to Charles Dickens.

When I'm not in a reading mood, you might find me playing the occasional video game. I also like to listen to music and I really enjoy trading recommendations. I like a range of genres but if you listen to country you can just keep that to yourself 😉.

I enjoy watching some sports and have played a couple up until around when the plague came. I now mostly live vicariously through watching my kids play and finding the motivation to get active myself.

Personality wise, I like to think I've got an okay sense of humor. I can be serious at times, and at other times silly. I can be a little sarcastic and will say what I'm thinking even at the risk of being a bit blunt. I hope that you'll be the same. Open and honest communication is important when it comes to this, and yes I realize there's some hypocrisy to that.

If you think there's a chance we'd get along I hope to hear from you. You don't need to write me a novel in your opening message but please tell me at least a little bit about yourself. I won't respond to "hi," and no, you aren't the first person to think it might be funny to say that as a joke anyway (I know you were thinking it).
