Hello there!

I've proudly flown my nerd flag high for many a year (too many, tbh, hahaha). I'm a 42 year old dad to two great boys, husband to a mostly uninterested wife, and on weekends I gather with some friends and I pretend to be a dragon. Monday to Friday I'm that most boring of things - a Banker.

As I said, my spouse, though lovely, is mostly uninterested in me, my hobbies, spending time with me or anything even adjacent to the thought of (shudder) intimacy. I, on the other hand, try to show a great deal of interest in the things she enjoys (I sat through all the Twilight movies like three times each for her!) and include her in my plans, but these days we don't even sleep in the same room.

So, I find myself here. I want someone I can be friends with, and I'm not going to lie, but sexyfuntimes are something I'm looking for. I'd like to meet someone who can match my nerdy energy, ideally late 30s to late 40s, but that's not a hard and fast limit. My interests include Dungeons & Dragons (all kinds of TTRPGs really, but might as well lead with the most well known), comic books, random 80s Saturday morning cartoons, and pro wrestling (among other things). I'm a Trekkie, rather than a...whatever the term for a Star Wars fan is. Hahaha.

Physically, I'm a little under 6', with a little bit of extra meat on me. Bald, bearded and with glasses. I try not to tie myself down to a "type", but I do have a thing for curvier women, "alt" looks and I'd be lying if I said that a woman doesn't look cuter wearing glasses.

I'm open to all kinds of communication, whether it be text based, pictures or voice calls. Eventually. Id like to start out with getting to know each other, see if we click, before we start with the flirting or (gasp!) sexyfuntimes. I have a bit of a dark and off beat sense of humour, so don't be surprised if I blow up your phone / messaging app of choice with some really dumb memes that made me giggle. Humour is my way of saying I like you.
