If you're still here, thanks for stayin with me. I hope this post finds you browsing the onlineaffairs community in good spirits, in a position to look for your proper soul mate. If you're anything like me, your marital misgivings haven't dissuaded the hopeless romantic in you one iota! So here I am, trying to make the best of a bad situation and putting my best food forward. Here goes!

I've got a birthday coming up in a few months. I'm in my late thirties, on the precipice of entering my fourth decade of existence, a time where your life becomes increasingly less important in the eyes of others and you really begin to look at your own mortality in a serious context. In that spirit, I'm entering a phase in my life where I'm exercising more frequently and really trying to be cognizant of what I put in my body. I have what you'd call a dad bod, but I don't have the kids to show for it unfortunately. That's a whole other thing. I've been married for a little over four years now. I stand about 5'9" and have short dirty blonde hair and a well trimmed beard. Currently residing on the east coast. If you live close to me, you get bonus points that... really aren't redeemable anywhere else. Sorry! I love all kinds of music, mostly different subgenres of rock/punk/jam/heavy music. Currently SUPER into math rock at the moment. I love all kinds of TV. Actually open and looking for a new TV show rec since I'm not sure what to get into next (plus, wouldn't it be cute to get into a show together?). I love documentaries, some Marvel movies, anything GoT/LotR related, and any type of meaningful discussion.

What I'm looking for is fairly simple: someone I connect with on a deeper level. I don't think most of us envision how they could possibly ever feel any differently about the people they love, but as we grow older, we sometimes realize life changes us. For a long time, that thought made me sad. There's nothing else you can do but make the most of your opportunities in life. I think we all deserve the warm embrace of a partner who's truly there bringing out the best in us. I love humor, wit, sarcasm, intelligence, and positivity. Someone who isn't afraid to be blunt when they need to be, but can also deliver with tact. I'm not as fixated on physical appearance (I actually find full-figured women to be quite attractive). Essentially, I'm just looking for someone who's tired of accepting their mundane romantic life and is willing to find the courage to recognize they deserve better and set out to achieve it.
