Messaging apps not working..

I am having issues with my device. Out of the blue, like 1h ago, my messaging apps, like instagram, whatsApp, facebook messenger stopped working. Can't send messages, can't receive them. I can access internet, I can browse in chrome, I can download from google play, etc..
Can anyone tell me what the heck is going on? Is it normal that from one minute to the other everything just goes haywire.
