So I played a local match on Sunday and was using PLuffy and my opponent was using Enel. Dropped 3 Magellans on him and he stated that if he gets Thunderbolt on the trigger, that's the only way to mitigate Magellan's minus don effect.
I didn't say anything as I've read what Thunderbolt does and Magellan's effect activates when he's KO'd. He never got the trigger but even if he did, I was going to contest it because Thunderbolt clearly says that it KOs a 5 or less character, thus activating Magellan's KO effect.
I started playing in October of last year, but this isn't my first tcg and my reading comprehension is well. In the event that I'm wrong though, does Thunderbolt negate ko effects? I know bottom decking negates it and the new Brook black card that sends cards to the trash does as well, but I'm sure that Thunderbolt doesn't.
Thanks.
