Saw a post about Akainu vs straw hats and everyone just says he low diffs them 1v1 so he destroys them all, but that isn't how fights work and the straw hats have fantastic teamwork. So I will go through how they all contribute to make this a fairly even fight. Before you try to come in here and say Akainu still neg diffs, tell me how he gets around all these counters so easily.

To start, Chopper, Robin, and probably Brook do absolutely nothing here. I'll go from weakest to strongest from here.

Bumsopp: Despite being mid(even though he's my favorite) the straw hat sniper can provide a lot to this fight. He can make banana boats that are resistant to heat as show on Punk Hazard, and water producing sprouts. Kabuto with water provided by Nami or Jimbei can grow and shoot water or other Straw Hats at Akainu using his observation.

Nami: She can actually do a lot of stuff here. One of her best assets is Zues, who is immune to anything Akainu can do, and if you think Big Mom's lightning could hurt him then she can do that. She can also make water for Jimbei as well.

Sanji: I believe Sanji is fast enough to get past Akainu's auto dodging, and can pepper him with damage while being invisible. If the time comes he could probably also body block a hit long enough for someone like Zoro to actually do damage.

Jimbei: Jimbei has been shown to actually block Akainu's blows with enough water, and his team can provide infinite water. The water shots he has or brick fists would probably also be able to immobilize Akainu enough for Zoro to hit him, and can't be dodged with future sight as they are a area attack that travels slow. Like Sanji he can also body block and if Ussop shoots him from Kabuto would make a good fully Haki cannonball, like they did against Oars.

Zoro: Zoro is closest to the level of power needed to actually scrap with Red DOG, but lacks the hacks or pure power needed to do it alone. Thankfully he is on a team with people he has had plenty of time to work on his teamwork with. If Zoro lands one or two good hits here than Akainu is toast since he doesn't have Kaido duraility.

WRANKKKKKY: As we get to the strongest member of the straw hats, we have someone who provides a lot of utility for the team. Unless you think that Kizaru's attacks wouldn't do anything to Akainu, radical beam can do great damage if it lands. Even if you don't believe it gets through logia powers, then it can blow away a big attack so Zoro can land the finishing blow. Using the bananas from ussop, he can build shields or structures within seconds like he did in Thriller bark, or make armor and modify the vehicles from the sunny to be lava proof. If you give him the sunny, then the gao beam probably clears.
