Long story short: Canon is the same until Enies Lobby where Sanji has a troubling meet-up with his siblings on the Sea Train.

Characterization ideas:

Ichiji: CP9 chief and equal to Lucci. Good at his job but wouldn't notice the world burning down due to the amount of paperwork he has to do. (JABRA PUT THAT DOWN!)

Niji: Engaged with Cosette and a cook on the Sea Train to provide a good meal to his buddies who he hasn't seen in years. Extremely happy to see Sanji.

Yonji: Hangs with giants and remembers every single person on Enies Lobby due to his good memory.

Reiju can be anywhere as I am undecided with her rn.
