I love the Marineland arch but does anyone else find it hard to ignore all the continuity plotholes? If it was the war of the best there should have been plenty of regular New World marines present that could take Luffy.

Crocodile shouldn't have been able to fight Mihawk, Doflamingo, let along Whitebeard.
Edit: Also Buggy should be dead af 💀
You're telling me a Yonk level Warlord doesn't use haki ALL the time? Or immediately after he cut Buggy and he obviously had a devil fruit?
In fact, he wouldn't even need to because his sword is already a black blade
