I have a theory. There was a post I made asking why the D family was so strong, and I think I have the answer to it. I’m almost through with the water seven I have noticed something. Y’all remember when there was flashback about robin’s past and that she was from an archeologist island that got burned to the ground by a buster call. And before everything had burned down the professor of the archeologists said something to the five elders. He said that they discover that there was an ancient kingdom in the blank era. And that during that de time, the ancient kingdom had an enemy. That they had created the ancient weapons to fight those enemies and that right when that ancient kingdom had vanished the world government was created. Now my theory is that that ancient kingdom was ruled by the family or so everyone in that kingdom had D in their names hence why every old people in one peace keep saying “the will of the D”. I also think that’s the reason the world government wants the ancient weapons. Now the reason I personally think the D’s are so strong has to do with some kind power passed downs from each generation like some kind of power or kirk(my hero academia)Now that may also be the reason why every person with D in their names disobey the world government so much Even though Garp is the not Person with the D in his name a marine, I think he may have done it to protect luffy and ace, so that’s they don’t take the path their ancestors did take and I respect him but this all is theory’s. I may be right, I may be wrong since I have about 600 more episodes to go.
