My son is almost 5. My wife and I both watch and love One Piece and know he'll love it too, but have yet to show it to him. I think he'd enjoy the dubbed Aimee at this point, but I prefer the subbed, and he's not reading yet.

I'm curious what others have done to introduce a kid to One Piece. Wait until they're adept enough at reading to keep up with the sub? Watch with them and read the subs to them (we will watch with him regardless, but reading every line aloud is a chore)? Start them on a dub version even though some have editing issues (looking at you Funimation)? Spring for the translated Manga and read with him, then do the amine later?
