Specially the lines "senri no sora ni nami ga odoru yo" Many translations used the wording Far-away sky and similar phrases, but what if its much more literal line that oda put right in our face. Another hint at space. Our moon is just shy ove 400 thousand Km/250 thousand miles. And at mars phobes orbits at ~9K km, It wouldnt be too much of a stretch for the one piece world to have a moon that's closer ( it is anime and not real life)

I find it too much of a coincidence that the straw hat's ships is the THOUSAND SUNNY
