TL;dr - Urouge is Kuma's son and his fruit is the bear bear fruit(this is wildly reductive, just read the damn postπ)
Urouge is a monk from a seemingly unknown sly island(many speculate it's Birka, but thats not what this theory is about). Little is known about his devil fruit nor the full extent of its abilities. That being said, I put together a few things and think I came out with a decent theory that would mean a lot. First, for a name of the fruit, I like the kuma kuma no mi. Kuma's fruit is not the bear fruit, nor does it make him a bear - It's the paw paw fruit. But kuma MEANS bear. But I mean bear in a bit of a different way, instead of a zoan, we know that Urouge's fruit is a paramecia type; a fruit granting the user some superhuman ability outside the realm of animal or elemental morphology. So instead of the kuma kuma no mi granting the user the zoan abilities of a bear, it grants the user the superhuman ability to bear any attack. This is all fine and dandy, nothing special, until you think about vegapunk, Kuma, and the nature of devil fruits. I think Urouge may have literally inherited Kuma's will through a devil fruit made by Kuma: and Kuma thought, "If only I could bear this world, all it's problems and it's people, then maybe our dream would come true," and the kuma kuma no mi became a reality. Urouge may play a pivotal role, not only in Kuma's story, but Luffy's, Vegapunk's, the WG, and perhaps the world itself. Hiding one of the supernovas doesn't SEEM intentional, it IS intentional, and soon we'll know why.
