Thanks to One Piece live action series. It saved my marriage.

Post Body

I have been trying my best to make my wife watch one piece, but to no good. I made it to Skypiea and thats when the story does get a bit boring but as a true OP fan, i couldn’t let her skip it. She then started making excuses to skip watching OP. And then the dreaded day came! Overly exaggerated drama up ahead: i confronted her on her excuses to not watch OP, and her reply was , “ its fine that i dont like OP. People can have different viewing preferences.”

This was one year ago. We have never been the same. Ok sorry for exaggerating here but we still are that loving soulmate couple, but the nerd inside me has never been the same again. She is my best friend and it cannot bear my best friend not being an OP fan.

Untill the live action release. She loves it and has been hooked on it. Rather than binge watching, she has put time in her schedule to watch one episode each day at designated hour to prevent herself from binge watching it.

And I have my own grudges with the series such as the casting of Shanks crew and the deviation from manga, but I am overlooking everything because my wife enjoys it. She even is now excited to continue watching the anime after finishing this.

So, to correct the title, it save my inner nerds friendship with his wife.
