There were a few things that i had a hard time believing. If these things actually happened then i apologize:

1. Did his wife really urge him to clean out his office or was that simply a plot device? I mean, what was her reason at this exact time that she wanted it cleaned?
2. Did he really visit newspapers and magazines at the end of his life to get his story told? In the scene at the TV show when his story finally gets told he claims not to want acclaim which seems contradictory to him “selling” his story to these magazines and newspapers

Yes, i loved the story. Yes, i cried. Yes, hopkins was amazing. I overlooked these “holes” if they actually were “holes.”
