Hello, I've only been collecting Mezco's for a little over a year. I've only recently started getting into Mezcos because of the great Gambit figure that they had compared to other toy lines. I got Gambit last year and ended up PO-ing the Steelbox Wolverine this year which was also stellar. I want to get Cyclops and Magneto to round off the X-men, but something today is making me think twice about buying/preodering unreleased products in the future:
When I saw the PO teaser for the Power Rangers on their Instragram, I was ecstatic. Then I come on to reddit and other social media and see comments about having to wait for years to get them; among other comments about how Mezco is very slow to roll out products.
I'm conflicted if it is worth purchasing/preordering future licensed figures from Mezco at this point, going by the number of negative comments about their wait time/production. Is it generally normal for Mezco to take several years to produce figures? There are also stories of Batman 89 and that is just horrible.
I like their products don't get me wrong and it's what got me started on them, but will that mean always having to wait several years for them to come, sometimes uncertain if they ever will come? What can long time collectors say about their service, etc overall?
(I also really wish Mezco would release a Rogue/Psylocke X-Men figure, but as the memes go, maybe in 2035?)
