New to the One:12 line, care/handling tips?

Early this year I preordered a Wolverine steelbox edition (because it looked so good) and decided to get Gambit as well a week ago (he should be arriving soon).

I intend to open the packages maybe once or twice for a photoshoot or two, then put them back in to their boxes for storage.

I have read about certain figures deteriorating over time, which is why I'm here today to prepare myself.

Up until now I've never had any figures with soft goods. What kind of care must be taken with this figure line in particular to avoid issues (if any)? How easy are they to clean? How should they be stored?
