Well... we have some fun three month speculation ahead of us... and the big question that will likely be stretched across the back half of the season is: who are the remaining members of the Coven? (Ugh. I hate that we are even going AHS on Once, but here we are.)

We have Gothel and Anastasia so far, leaving us with six open spots. Anastasia is replacing Drizella, who was a member pre-curse. Adam and Eddy said in an interview that was released after the finale last night that the other members have been cursed and scattered around Hyperion Heights as well... SO. Let the speculation begin.

PAST CHARACTERS

Let us start with characters we know from seasons 1-6, who are probably very unlikely to appear, but hey. We can hold out hope, right?

• Emma Swan - Should one of Gothel's members fall, Emma could be eyed as a potential replacement member. But given that Morrison was only contracted for a one episode appearance, this is unlikely. HOWEVER. Apparently we still don't know everything about Emma according to Eddy, and if we recall Killian and Regina had some secret they didn't want to tell Henry when they found him again. If some timewarp shenanigans had happened...

• Elsa - put Anna in danger, and Elsa will do anything, even if she is morally against it.

• Maleficent/Lily - we were left without an end to their story. Why not? They could surely be swayed from their reformation.

• Blue Fairy - come on, how can one NOT put everyone's favorite shady fairy on this kind of list? ;)

• Morraine - because darnit, we still want to see her story resolved.

• Nurse Ratched - because I believe its been mentioned that this story will be featured at some point?

• Not as likely, but will mention regardless since the story possibilities would be interesting: Ursula, Bo Peep, Guinevere, Violet. (Who wouldn't want to see an adult Violet suddenly show up having learned magic, having followed Henry back to the Fairytale Realm years prior after being left behind, only to get tangled up in trouble instead?)

NEW CHARACTERS

Now. Here's the more realistic speculation. Time to hit up the fairytales and Disney stories, and throw down some possibilities.

• Madame Mim - The top of the list for many, we've had Merlin and Arthur, so why not Madame Mim herself? We can have ourselves a little magic duel, since I didn't get the Drizella vs. Anastasia showdown I wanted!

• Madame Leota - After a recent Haunted Mansion quote from Adam, I just... can't help but wonder. And hope. Because I would just die. Give. Me. Haunted. Mansion. In. Once. Better yet? Give me Leota and Facilier team up. (If not Leota, then Constance.)

• Mama Odie - I'd hate to see Odie go bad (especially as Tia is likely going to need her) but what if she was an infiltrator looking to destroy them from the inside out? Or perhaps a member who has gone rogue. Regardless, Odie is a witch who is powerful, and I'm sure we will eventually see her.

• Jadis - I am still holding out for a trip to Narnia as I have been since episode 1 of this show (and hey, we have Lucy!) so perhaps the White Witch may make an appearance. Though would she really team up with other witches...? Perhaps only if she planned on turning on them in the end.

• The Oz Witches - We have seen the three other witches from Zelena's Oz... but there are other versions of Oz out there. Could Zelena go toe to toe with another Westie? Maybe another Glinda who is not so Good? Mombi?

• The Oracle - While she met her untimely end last season, there could always be another, given there is sure to be another Agrabah somewhere.

• Yzma - I feel like it's very unlikely we'll see her, as I don't think Emperor's New Groove would really fit in... but that doesn't mean I wouldn't LOVE to have her! (And Kronk. Always Kronk.)

• Witch Hazel - There has to at least be a nod to Witch Hazel. Maybe a false alarm/wild goose chase witch.

• The Red Queen, White Queen or Jabberwock - I feel like we will have more Wonderland connections, so maybe one of these characters will take part. As we are in a new Wonderland, they will not be the characters from the spin-off, or the Wonderland from season 1-6. New versions!

And given the fact that characters do not have to be canon/known magic users (as OUAT can twist their backstories, as we know now thanks to Anastasia and Drizella) we can consider some other possibilities as well.
