I'm decently new to gaming in general, but i absolutely fell in love with this game. i just dont understand it. i have questions, im sure i can find answers on my own, but im going to rely on the kindness of strangers! :D

do i need a generator to use the electric eel to power anything? youtube videos seem to mostly tell me how to catch it, which i have a couple of times.

are phases the same for everybody? i see people talking about phase three and four, and since i was on last night, it still said two days for phase three.

i am level 28, but it seems im still pretty behind as i only made it to Meyers Market a few days ago. i spend most of my time gathering resources, and can i just say... i just wanna find refined parts and fireproof plastic. ive been told that i can find that stuff at iron river.

do i need to unlock iron river or can i just go there even though its grey on the map?

im sorry if these questions seem dumb or anything, but these are the ones that plague me and i cant seem to find a straight up answer to and im scared to talk in the discord groups for this game. pft.
