Need help finding a old book (repost cause last got taken down)

So the book was one I read in primary school around 2006-2007

It was a story about a un-named animal trying to find animals it belonged with so alongside a second animal(i think it was a rabbit and they were in a forest" they went around trying to find animals that matched E.G it had the legs of this animal but had the arms of another animal and in the end it shows this creature that had different animal body parts with a name like "the whatcha call it"™ sorry the explanation is vague but its a very old memory

EDIT 1: The animal of the story was reveled in parts so you would see a leg on one page then a tail then a body then the face and the last page had the full creature The animal was small no bigger than a average house cat I'll update with more information as I remember their were also no humans in the story

EDIT 2: The animal did not have a mouth as far as I recall but it had a spikey head big eyes front bird feet back mamal feet a blue body and some kinda tail

Edit 3: Ok so a better description of the animal the front half of the body was bird like it had feathers and bird feet the back half was mamal like dog or cat with the same animals tail the head was round with no visible mouth with big eyes I'm certain the head was black and so we're the feathers but the rest of the body was a dark blue
