Reasons for Containment: Multiple counts of Grand Larceny, Small Scale Terrorism, and Attempted Murder

Bio: Quentin Beck was a special effects artist and stunt man in his home universe. When he realized his career in Hollywood was not going as well as he would like, he turned to crime. A string of robberies and thefts, all perpetrated by Quentin Back, who had taken on the name Mysterio, popped up across New York City. Notably, Beck had developed technology which allowed him to Nullify Spider-Man’s Spider Sense. Though Spider-Man would defeat Beck, he continued on to commit further crimes, even joining Dr. Otto Octavius’ Sinister Six team of villains.

Beck then donned a number of new identities, attempting to use psychological tricks to fool both Spider-Man and May Parker to surrender valuable information. After multiple defeats at the hand of Spider-Man and The Power Pack, Beck was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and lung cancer. Due to the nature of his illness, he was released from imprisonment early. From there he turned his attention to a devious plot to break the will of New York Hero Daredevil (Matt Murdock), thought this too fell through. Now truly broken, Quentin Beck shot himself.

This suicide would be revealed to be a fake, and Beck returned to commit further crimes and rejoin the Sinister Six, too the same extent of failure. Most worryingly, it was discovered that the Mysterio in universe 06161 (Ultimate Version), was no more than a robot under control of 06160 attempting to take control of 06161. His means of accessing this other dimension is still up to scrutiny.

Sentence: 50 Years Containment

Containment: Beck is to placed in a medium security single cell with standard amenities for a Delta level threat. He is not to be allowed to posses, or be near, technology, as his ability to create new technology is very advanced. He is to be searched regularly for any contraband on his person. He is to be questioned three times weekly for his involvement in CADMUS activities, and in his means of travelling across Universal borders.
