Ive previously focused on the paperback format while now starting to switch over to omnibus and HC. But I still have a backlog of books to read.
Shelfie Sundays shows amazing collections but I'm wondering if others have a backlog and what percentage that looks like. I'm also curious how long people have been collecting for.
I have what Iโd consider a decent size omnibus collection (roughly 120) and would say Iโve read around 90% of it. That being said I have also collected singles since I was a kid. So some of the omnibus material I read back then and sold my singles to have it in omnibus format.
Now I do not subscribe to you have to read what you buy. Personally itโs non of my business if someone ever even cracks open their books. I just love seeing what people are getting or what they have in their collection so I can drool. But there are some omnibus police in this forum that think you should only buy what you can read. Id disagree. I say buy, collect, read however, whatever you want. Screw what anyone else says
