I was curious of your opinion on Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus 1 (and the few to follow). I have always wanted to get into Spider-Man- and I am the type of person that has to read everything written about a character- I like to start from the beginning.
I am hesitant to dive into this - I started reading Stan Lees FF run and could not get into it at all. I know older comics have a different read to them but I could barely finish the first omnibus.
How does ASM by Lee compare?
I enjoyed it but yes you are right. Itβs a different feel and can be a boring read at points. Iβd recommend trying something more modern like the JMS run and maybe go back to the earlier works if you decide you love the character.
