Can you read X-Men by Hickman Omnibus (or spin off X titles) without reading HoXPoX?

I slept on House and Powers of X originally, and it’s impossible to find the OHC or even the TBP for a good price at this point (hoping for a reprint). Instead of sitting around waiting, can I jump into the X-Men Omni and other X titles like X Factor, New Mutants, Wolverine, etc without HoXPoX?

I’ve read both and honestly I would not recommend reading the X-Men Omni without HoXPoX. It sets up so much that it might be confusing moving forward without it. But you could also wiki everything that doesn’t make sense as well. So that might be up to you.
