Going to the Boutique on Monday to get my first Omega. Which should I select?

Purchasing my first Omega watch early next week, and not sure which option to go with. I love the look of the Sedna gold watch, but not sure the $13k price tag over the typical $5,9k Seamaster is worth the increased cost.
Outside of my personal enjoyment, is there a reason to go with the Sedna Gold option? Better quality parts? Holds value better (even though I don’t intend to ever sell)?
