This is probably the 4th post I made about business ideas in Oman but I’m an entrepreneur at heart and whenever I see an opportunity lights flash in my brain.
I’ve been around cities in Oman and realized there’s a ton of restaurants that have outdoor seating that no one uses… like rarely. I get why - it’s insanely hot/humid and maybe it gets packed during the winter.
I just think about how much opportunity is wasted with space not being used purely cause of heat. so I got to thinking - I’ve seen other hot countries use mist fans - they’re powerful & work insanely well with cooling the area. 100% believe if restaurants implemented this in their sit-in areas on summer days/nights a ton more people would dine with their families, increasing order value, up selling opportunities, and attachment to dining experience.
So I was thinking about doing it on the side - importing mist fans, setting them up and selling them to local businesses.
Good idea? I’m just curious if anyone with local knowledge thinks this is a bad idea for a reason I had not calculated.
