Hello! I’m traveling to Olympic National Park next week, and was aware of and planning for the reduced cars, etc at Hurricane Ridge.
However, I just saw that Hurricane Hill Road will be closed to cars starting 9/19, coincidentally my first full day in the area. With that closure, what can I expect? How close can I get to the area to park? Can I park somewhere nearby? And how much does that extend the length of the Hurricane Hill hike?
Any alternative hikes with great mountain views that you would suggest that aren’t too strenuous?
