Picked up L’Oréal’s Hyaluronic Tinted Serum Foundation in shade 4.5-5.5
Post Body

I’ve been eyeing this foundation for a few months now and finally picked up shade 4.5-5.5 Rich Medium. Side note- the bottle doesn’t come with any safety tape or wrapper. I was so excited to try it that I didn’t even check to see if it looked like it had been tampered with. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve only worn this foundation once, so here are my first impressions:

For reference I have combo skin, slightly oily t-zone and dry dry cheeks.

  • This formula gave me much more coverage than I expected! I applied two layers and I feel like I got full coverage.

  • This formula set down pretty matte on my skin. I was expecting a more luminous finish. Initially, I was disappointed but the finish is growing on me.

  • This formula is beautiful on my skin. It doesn’t emphasize my acne scarring/pores. My skin looks blurred and smooth.

  • This shade looks ashy around my mouth and looks pink compared to my next and chest. I’m wondering if 4-5 would be a better match. I think this is workable though.

Overall, I really like this foundation. I’m still on the hunt for my perfect lightweight foundation. I used to love MAC F&B in C3 with C4 mixed in, but I’m wanting something that provides more coverage.
