Hey folks, just joined so I could ask my question.
We are renters and have a clawfoot tub. I already dread showering due to the shower curtain situation.
First off, the bar the shower curtain attaches to doesn’t encompass the whole tub. There’s about 6 inches of tub that are essentially unused because the shower curtain rod is smaller than the tub itself. I’d like to get a larger rod that actually lets us use the whole tub. That’s something I’m assuming I’ll have to work with our landlord on.
Second of all, the shower curtains are touching meeeeee! My partner is in the process of chopping off some of the shower curtain so that it doesn’t puddle up at the bottom of the tub. (It was a cheap curtain as we just moved in) Would a shower curtain designed specifically for a clawfoot tub make a difference? Are there shower curtains that aren’t as long and won’t sit in the bottom of our tub? We are using a liner and decorative with the liner sitting inside the tub and decorative sitting outside.
Any advice is appreciated!!
