Jesus. Any YouTube videos you can recommend?
The window sill is actually at the top of the this picture.
Thank you. I will do some more YouTube research
Thank you. Honestly, I have watched a bunch of TOH videos, and if it were just demo-ing the wall and redo-ing it, I’d feel fairly competent doing it. It’s the other stuff in this situation that is freaking me out. I’m m not sure if you saw the other photo I posted in a comment (https://imgur.com/a/f3o2c1E ), but this wall is a bathroom wall with a giant claw foot tub and toilet in front of it. I know nothing about plumbing, so I am already going to have to hire a plumber to unhook and remove those fixtures while I do the work, and then to replumb them afterwards. I guess I will probably also need to buy a new window, or figure out how to fix this one. It is just so scary how much everything costs, and how little wiggle room I have, financially. As I said, I am a single mom with two kids and a full-time job. I already have so little time and money to spend on doing work on this house. I also love old houses, and want to do everything right, preserving the integrity and honoring the house’s legacy. I just am up against so many odds, and winter is right around the corner.
No, this is the external wall of the house. This is in a bathroom.

I wish the broke single mom with no skills writing this thought it was easy, too.
