As long as I can remember my dad has kept a bronze statuette of a gorilla on his desk. He's explained to me that it represents his identity as a "silverback"--a man who's earned his position of dominance by serving his country and founding several successful businesses. Part of the way he expresses that stature is also through the young beautiful women he dates--he's 62, but I've never seen him with a girl over 25 since my parents divorced when I was little.
I've always been fascinated by my dad's dynamic with these girls and I'd like to explore it for myself. For the record, I'm a petite, pretty, bookish college student. Imagine a ballerina with a dusty old novel under her arm.
If that intrigues you, then please send me a PM (not a chat request!) telling me what makes you a silverback and about your interest in this post. Thanks!
